Today I did something a little different. One of my favourite little people is turning four years old and I spent today making her birthday present. I thought paper dolls would be a great gift to make that would encourage creative play. Because I like the idea of sharing and because I didn’t want to leave out her older brother, I made it a joint gift, and made a doll for each of them. They can share and mix and match all sorts of outfits and costumes on paper versions of themselves.
I even made costumes of their favourite characters!
This can create some hilarious combinations:
Etc, etc. The possibilities are endless! (I’m actually a bit addicted to making costumes. I want to add a bear costume, a pirate costume, maybe a few more.
That’s one month of drawing! Thanks to everybody following this project!
A poll yesterday suggested that the public wanted vikings and root vegetables, and so I present here vikings and root vegetables.
Now that Grimm Week is over, I’m looking for new themes for upcoming weeks. Any suggestions?
