Today I did something a little different. One of my favourite little people is turning four years old and I spent today making her birthday present. I thought paper dolls would be a great gift to make that would encourage creative play. Because I like the idea of sharing and because I didn’t want to leave out her older brother, I made it a joint gift, and made a doll for each of them. They can share and mix and match all sorts of outfits and costumes on paper versions of themselves.
I even made costumes of their favourite characters!
This can create some hilarious combinations:
Etc, etc. The possibilities are endless! (I’m actually a bit addicted to making costumes. I want to add a bear costume, a pirate costume, maybe a few more.

Don’t get distracted from your daily drawings, but these are just awesome, and I am a 45 year old man. We’ve been thinking of bringing something like this to the iPhone/Touch platform. Might be fun to collaborate. – Mike

These are quite adorable. I would have loved you to death for these when I was little.
